I have been a part of the AboutUs Portland team since February '07. This whole time I have been reviewing recent changes that have been made on the wiki and working to build community and help people learn more about AboutUs and how to edit the wiki.
Nearly a year ago I jumped on board to help respond to the growing interest in how we help people promote their businesses and websites with a SpotlightUs Page (formerly called Deluxe AboutUs Articles). You can see the articles that our team of writers have created thusfar on our Spotlight Articles page.
On a more personal note, I am 23 and graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Geography last March. I also have a background in Journalism and an associates degree from Clark College.
I love to blues and swing dance socially and in my living room. I am what you could call a music lover, primarily for that with an electronic or blues-y influence. Moby and Nina Simone are at the top of my list. Hiking is one of my favorite activities, and the Portland area is such a great place for it (when it's not raining).
